The Texas Rangers conduct major violent crime, public corruption, cold case and officer involved shooting investigations and oversee the departments border security and tactical and crisis negotiation programs. The program's primary objective is to provide Texas law enforcement agencies with a process for investigating unsolved murders or what appear to be serial or linked criminal transactions.
