While an Indy car tire cost is more manageable, its not exactly the best economical choice. I think these are great tires for the money and definitely worth considering. And cheap. This wont help you any, but I remember having a set of Indy 500's on one of my old cars and getting stuck in a literal. For a tire I'm driving on the street I am never going to be pushing them to their limits on public roads.
