While at Kingston, Richard coached the Junior Varsity Football, Modified Soccer and Junior Varsity Soccer teams. As a rookie third baseman, he tied a major league record with 11 assists in a game. Tragically, in his senior year of high school, the promising young athlete passed away after being involved in a car accident.
